Veeva Systems was founded in 2007, and immediately engaged with Barbadora INK. The company is now public and on pace to hit $5 billion in revenue before 2020, ranking as one of the fastest growing cloud software companies of all time. For more than a decade, Barbadora INK has led the company’s global public relations efforts through its IPO, first product launch through to its 20+ product launch. Barbadora INK has handled business press opportunities, technology trades, and the global life sciences industry media where Lisa spends most of her time today for Veeva.
Contributing to Rapid Growth
Barbadora INK has written hundreds of press releases, blog entries, case studies, white papers, and byline feature articles and served as the strategic brainpower behind the organizations rich and rapidly growing media outreach efforts. We helped the organization grow from just 5 employees to a 500-person global technology company. In Fiscal Year 2017, Barbadora INK secured more than 160 interviews, and 35 byline feature articles in key trade publications for a total of 2.14 billion audience impressions. We helped launch three new products and coordinated extensive media programs at two major industry events that brought 1500+ industry leaders together. Below are some highlights:

In Fiscal Year 2018, Barbadora INK secured 90 byline feature articles (versus 35 the previous year) and 175 media interviews (versus 160 the previous year).
Most recently in Fiscal Year 2019, Barbadora INK secured 152 byline feature articles (versus 90 the previous year) and 205 media interviews (versus 175 the previous year) for a total of 3.2 billion audience impressions – the largest number to date. We also did a virtual media tour to introduce a new executive and secured interviews with 80% of the targeted publications.
